Schließt du dein iPhone an einen Beamer an, spiegelt iOS normalerweise den ganzen Bildschirm: Das 19,5:9-Format des iPhones wird in die Leinwand eingepasst – links und rechts bleibt sie schwarz, das Foto wird klein. Picture Presenter übernimmt das externe Display stattdessen mit einem eigenen Fenster: Ein 16:9-Beamer wird zur echten 16:9-Leinwand, immer im höchsten Anzeigemodus, den das Display anbietet. Dein iPhone bleibt die Fernbedienung – auf der Leinwand erscheint nur das Bild, nie die Bedienoberfläche. When you plug an iPhone into a projector, iOS normally mirrors the whole screen: the iPhone's 19.5:9 format is fitted onto the canvas, leaving black bars left and right and making your photo small. Picture Presenter instead takes over the external display with its own window: a 16:9 projector becomes a true 16:9 canvas, always at the highest mode the display offers. Your iPhone stays the remote – the big screen only ever shows the picture, never the controls.

• Benötigt iOS 17 oder neuer. Die Display-Übernahme gilt, solange die App geöffnet ist.
